On Murad that is. I would think if it was going to work for me, it would have by now. I am still going to give it the full four weeks like I am supposed to, but I just don't know if it's going to work or not. Of course, at the beginning I said I wouldn't get my hopes too high but I am still disappointed anyway. :(

Stupid
So, I stay up late every night. I am either making baby favors, working on ChaCha, or just being happy with the peace around me LOL! Anyway, I always have the TV on and always on FOX. I absolutely HATE those stupid 'adult' chat commercials that come on, with the slutty looking women just promising to have phone sex with you if you call. Right, like the girls you would talk to really look like that, I think not! Plus they try to hard and look stupid, not to mention how degrading to REAL women they are. Ok, done ranting for now. :)

Still Waiting
I am still waiting on the miracle of clear skin through Murad. This is a little disappointing,m especially when I see the commercials, of those "real" people using it and ending up with perfect skin. I am starting to think this is another one of those stupid products that doesn't work. :( I am going to give it the full four weeks though. There is a huge difference in my skin texture, but there's still breakouts, so to me the texture does not matter, if there are still ugly breakouts all on my face.

Day #16 - Murad Acne Complex
So, yesterday I started using a washcloth to wash my face instead of my fingers. I was thinking, just rubbing smooth fingers over my face isn't really going to get it clean, but using a washcloth with the Murad would probably result in a deeper clean. So, I used it and my face feels so much fresher after washing now. I am thinking this will help me see more of a difference faster. So, for anyone out there using Murad, or any other face regimen, use a cloth to wash your face. But remember, don't scrub to hard, don't want to irritate the skin! :)

Day #15 - Murad Acne Complex
Well, I do finally see a huge difference! My face is starting to clear up, and my skin is much smoother and softer. I think within a few more days my face might actually be breakout free. I am so excited about that, as it will be the first time in years and years since my face looked good. I am still not getting my hopes up too high, don't want to be disappointed.

She is a Whole New Baby!
Brooke-Lynn is a whole new baby since I got the Hyland's Teething Tablets. She slept all night last night with no problems, and she has been so happy today. For anyone out there with a teething baby, get these tablets! They are small white tablets that dissolve instantly in their mouth. When Brooke-Lynn was about 3 months old I thought she was teething and I gave them to her then too, so they can be given to younger babies with no fear of them choking. They have no side effects and will not harm your baby. If you are unsure of them teething, go ahead and give it to them, it won't hurt anything, plus if you are unsure, it would be bad to be feeding them Tylenol anyway, for no reason. I try to stay away from the medications with her, because I know they are bad for her. I also stay away from the Oragel because it toughens their gums and makes teething worse because the teeth take longer to cut through the gums. All I can say about Hyland's is WOW! I also use the Hyland's Leg Cramp pills for myself and they are AWESOME! My legs hurt a lot from sitting at the computer all the time working, and these pills take it right away. They are also homeopathic, as is everything hyland's makes. A+++ for Hyland's!

Murad Customer Service
I wanted to make this post separate so it would be noticed. A couple of days after I started the Clear Skin Challenge I e-mailed the e-mail address found on my kit for the challenge stories. I honestly didn't think I would get a reply, because I directed them to this blog and told them to read if interested. Well, today I got a reply from a VERY nice representative. I could tell they actually took the time to ready every one of my posts on here, as they addressed every concern that I had put in my posts. I am very pleased at the customer service, it is excellent. Murad is an awesome company, and their care makes me that much more confident that this will work. Way to go Murad! Keep up the great work! :)
Night #8 - Murad Acne Complex
Yes, I know I missed a day, sorry! I had a very long, stressful day yesterday! Brooke-Lynn ended up staying up until past 2am last night. Probably because a couple of months ago, she has two teethe and now she has TWELVE! So she has been a completely different baby! I need to get to Wal-Mart to get her some Hyland's teething tablets, but haven't been able to yet. But I did use the Murad as I was supposed to and I am starting to see my face clear up. I was deleting pictures off my camera today and I saw those before pictures I took, wow, so embarrassing, all the bumps. :( And there is a big difference. I didn't think it was too big of a difference, but I see it now after looking at those pictures. I knew all this stressing is not good for my skin, but I can't help it! And today I went to see Jimmy's grandma in the hospital, hopefully she will get to come home soon. :( The hospital is 2 hours away so that took the entire day. I actually didn't use the Murad this morning, but it is the first time I missed it, but I will be using it tonight before I go to bed. More updates to come. :)

Day #6 - Murad Acne Complex
I haven't used it yet today, but when I got up this morning and looked at my face I noticed it is starting to clear up. Last night I washed my face, applied the gel, applied the lotion, THEN used the sulfur spot treatment. It seems to work better when you use it last. I like the spot treatment, it is wonderful. My skin is definitely softer now too. Now, if my face clears up, I am worried about all the spots and scars I will have leftover. Murad makes a regimen to help with that as well, but I can barely afford this stuff, much less two kits per month! Guess, I will just have to see what my skin looks like in a few weeks. So far so good, but still no miracles yet.

Night #4 - Murad Acne Complex
I know I said once per day, but I wanted to write about something quickly. I used the mask again tonight, and it didn't feel the same as last time, it's like that exfoliating gel is doing good and sloughing off dead skin, because I can FEEL things on my face more. The mask felt good, like it was doing something, tightening pores and cleaning. Also when I applied the gel tonight, it burned even more than last night, I am glad though, because that means something is happening right? I hope so!
I think if this works I will be getting out more with these products. I did go out to the flea market once a few weeks ago but I want to open a whole baby booth out there and I honestly feel like if someone is looking at my items and I walk up to them my face will scare them away. :( It makes it really hard, and I think that is the main reason I am happy paying huge fees to sell on eBay, because I never have to actually see anyone!
Also, if this works for me, I will be making my brother buy some as well. He has also tried everything possible to help his face. I haven't seen him in months, as he is in California in his MOS school, and in October he has to go to Iraq but after that he should settle down for a while, and he should try this out! I am super worried about him going to Iraq, I hope Obama pulls everyone out of there like he is saying. My brother acts like it is no big deal and that he isn't worried, but I am!! He works with computers, so he says he will be more safe than the guys who go to fight, but still..... :(

Day #4 - Murad Acne Complex
I have decided to just write once per day now, because twice per day will result in a lot of posts! Anyway, I see my skin is getting softer and I still love the cleanser and how tingly it is. I do not however like that it doesn't lather much, but I will get over that LOL! Tomorrow I will probably use the mask again, I hope I start seeing some real results soon!

Night #2 - Murad Acne Complex
So, tonight I decided to use the face mask. It's pretty cool. you just put it on for 10 minutes and rinse it off, very easy. I have used many masks before, this one comes off much easier than any other one I have ever tried. Also, the previous two times I washed my face I used cotton balls for everything, because I hate touching my face. Well, tonight I decided to use my fingers to apply the Exfoliating Gel, and boy was there a difference! I think the cotton ball was absorbing most of the gel and I wasn't getting much on my face. Well, tonight after I used it, it burned! It is not a bad burn, more like a 'I can tell it's working' burn. Pretty reassuring. :)
Day #2 - Murad Acne Complex
Well, I just got around to my morning time face wash, Bruce's bus broke down this morning at his stop so I stood outside with the driver and the kids until the repair man came and fixed it, a whole hour and a half later!! Anyways, I want to start off by saying that sulfur stuff must really work! Last night before I went to bed I wanted to dab a small bit of it on one certain spot that was bad so I went to the mirror and it was GONE!!! I could not believe it. It was one of those big painful ones that is just there but you can't pop it or anything. It was still raised a little, but it was not red at all and had gone down a ton! Holy cow. Still not trying to get my hopes up too high.... So, I did all the same steps as last night, and tonight I will probably use the Clarifying Mask and see how that makes my face feel. My face has the WORSE texture ever, I truly hope this can at least make my skin soft. I'll be back for another update tonight. :)

Nevermind....
About the sulfur smell. It IS pretty strong now, I didn't smell it at all when I used it but it has my eyes burning. I can see how it would make someone stop using it, but I don't mind, if it helps my face. :)
Forgot To Add.....
I did take some before pictures, but I refuse to post them here. The only way I will post them if for before and after pictures IF this works! ;)
Night #1 - Murad Acne Complex
Well I just used the Murad system for the first time! I started with the Step One - Clarifying Cleanser. This cleanser smells very nice and your face feels great after using it - almost tingly. Next, I use the Step 2 - Exfoliating Acne Treatment Gel, I spread a thin layer over my face. Next I used the Step 2 - Acne Spot Treatment and dabbed it on all the big pimples, I have too many to put on all of them so I just targeted the horrible ones for now. The smell of it is a little bad but nowhere near as bad as the reviews I read. I followed up with the Step 3 - Skin Perfecting Lotion. Let me just say I NEVER EVER put lotion on my face, I am so paranoid about it because my face is already bad enough, I would hate to make it worse by some greasy lotion, but I used it because I am supposed to. I got done maybe 5 minutes ago, and my face doesn't feel greasy at all! So, I guess so far so godd. Either tomorrow or the day after, I will use the Step 2 - Clarifying Mask also, didn't use it yet though. :)
Murad Arrived!
I got my package from Murad today, I have not yet opened it because I want to write about every little step in here to see if it works and so others can follow it. I am pleased with the shipping time, now I just hope I am pleased with the results. I read some very bad reviews last night but I will try to stay positive. :)

Murad Acne Complex
Well, I somehow let the commercial convince me to buy this product that I can't really afford. But I have had acne for as long as I can remember and it royally sucks. There is not a single day that I do not have pimples on my face. I have absolutely zero self confidence in my appearance. I do not even know what it is like to have clear skin. I am not really sure if this is going to work or not, but I guess we will see, as I will post about it daily. The package should be here in 5-7 days. Keeping my fingers crossed. Maybe after this I will actually post some pictures of me, I might have one picture of my daughter and I together, and she is 1, this is because I hate my face. I would do a before and after but it is too embarrassing. For those of you who know me, I guess you will see the difference if it works.
